I don’t think amateur is a bad word.

It’s a bold pronouncement to say you’re ready to try something you’ve never done before.

I’ve taught myself bread baking, embroidery, stop-motion animation, ink making, bookmaking, Blender, Unity, tarot, and marbling

simply by not understanding ‘I can’t’.

I’ve spent my life slingshotting the subway and buses of New York, reading the signs and billboards sprayed every which way. I’m always ready to go head-to-head on pizza places, bagel spots, and bookstores. I'm still searching for that one really fire records store to get lost in.
